Entry Fee & Commission

Entry fee is $20 for the first piece of work entered and $15 the second with a limit of two (2) artworks per entrant. Fee is to be paid on Wednesday 6.November during delivery of Artworks.

Artfest will take a commission of 25% of the sale price of each artwork sold. This commission from sales goes directly to supporting Wentworth Falls Public School.

YouthArt is open to children from Kindergarten right through to Year 12.

Students from across the Blue Mountains were invited to submit an artwork for exhibition across the Artfest weekend.

Kate HoldenI am a landscape painter based here in Wentworth Falls. After completing a bachelor of landscape painting at COFA, UNSW, I spent many years living and exhibiting abroad. I work in oils on canvas and focus on capturing light movement and energy in nature. 
Alyssa AleksanianI am classically trained in drawing and painting in the Atelier tradition. An additional university degree in the conservation of easel painting means all my work is constructed with the highest standards of conservation in mind - my paintings will indeed stand the test of time.
Katrina BodeyKatrina Bodey is an emerging visual artist living in the Blue Mountains, Australia. Her ceramic pieces are hand built, with each individual evolving intuitively in order to capture their personality.
Desley BrownI’m a mother of four and an emerging artist, but creativity has always been my lifeline.My first canvas was hair, where I learned to shape beauty with my hands. I've since found my voice through paint, embracing freedom, and I'm driven by a fire to create the beauty that words can't express!
Lorraine BrownleeLorraine grew up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, moving to the Blue Mountains 33 years ago. She became a professional artist 9 years ago creating a unique and colourful range of images based on Australian native plants and birds. Her designs feature on prints, cards, tea towels and other products.
Fiona BuntonI am an artist and art teacher based in the beautiful Blue Mountains. My art is inspired by my many bushwalking adventures and my love of the beauty of the place I live. My work is based primarily in painting and printmaking but I enjoy dabbling in any type of art.
Linda CallaghanAs an award winning artist Linda Callaghan paints a diverse range of art from her Blue Mountains Studio, drawing inspiration from all things nature. Many of her paintings continue to be held in private and commercial collections worldwide along with commissioned art products.

Megan Campbell-JubbI love to portray a sense of love and well being in my paintings whether it be portraits, scenes or wildlife, I love the way simple colours come to life as the painting emerges. I'm always growing and evolving artistically, different fazes of life can influence my choice and outcome of a painting.

Genevieve Clay-SmithBy day, Genevieve works as a film director and script writer, at night, she paints vivid, vibrant and spontaneous abstracts and expressionistic works inspired by the colours, textures and scenes of her home in the Blue Mountains.
Tiffany CocoHi I am Tiffany lover of all things creative, I am Artist, florist, Interior Designer, surface designer, crafter. Living in Wentworth falls with my husband and Ava the cat, for the past 14 years. Love living so close to nature, nature is my inspiration.
Samantha Lee CurranSamantha Lee Curran (she/her) is a poet and artist living on Dharug and Gundungurra land. She is the author of the poetry collection 'exposure to existence' (Alien Buddha Press, 2023). She was an Artist in Residence at Chateau d’Orquevaux in 2023, and exhibited her debut solo show in September 2024.
Natasha DaniloffNatasha Daniloff is the recipient of a Masters in Visual Art - Painting U.N.S.W. and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Australia and overseas. Her residencies in Tasmania, Hill End, Mildura and Italy have been pivotal in developing the techniques and concepts within the themes in her current work. She is currently exploring various material and aesthetic possibilities in the way ideas about landscape and culture can connect. Her work is held in private and public collections in the U.S.A., U.K., Denmark, Singapore, N.Z., and Australia. She is also featured in various publications: “Artists Observed” C.Hampshire, Art Vault 5th Anniversary catalogue and “The Artistic Time”, D Verducci. She is also a recipient of various awards and art prizes.
Jennie DeaneJennie Deane is a Blue Mountains artist primarily working in watercolours while also experimenting with various other mediums. Her inspiration stems from the stunning natural surroundings, which resonate in her latest book, LOOKOUT: Blue Mountains Lookouts Through the Artist's Eye.
Bruce DingwallBruce lives on a farm in South Bowenfells with his wife, Judy. He is a coach/consultant for church leaders. He paints mainly in watercolour but also in acrylics. He has won a highly commended and two commended at local art shows in the past few years.

Louise FoxLouise is a local Blue Mountains artist. She has frequently exhibited at Braemar Gallery and other spaces around the area. She has been an art teacher and art therapist till recently. She enjoys working on paper in watercolour, inks, collage and printmaking.
Sophie FraserSophie is not your average artist, in fact she isn’t one. But with a questionable sleep schedule and an interest in astrophotography, here we are.
Hayden FryerHayden Fryer is a Blue Mountains based illustrator, writer and graphic novelist. His illustration work draws on influences from traditional Ink Painting techniques through emotive brush work, a focus on minimalism in design and informed by the storytelling elements of sequential illustration.

Caroline GiniunasI am a Blue Mountains artist who loves to paint natural scenes in oils. I like to use recycled materials wherever I can. I enjoy using colour and composition to create moods found in the natural world. I hope to portray beauty in my work.
Rob GordonMost of the work I create reflects my interest in the unique landscape features in the Blue Mountains and the surrounding areas. Most of the works are acrylic on board but I do try using other materials.One common theme in my work is the water features that are a beautiful part of this area.

Keith 'Munro' HansonKeith 'Munro' Hanson has been painting for over 40 years. Completely self-taught he started with pencils around 5, pastels at age 8, moved to pen and ink at 16, completed his first mural at 17, his first large abstract in 1993, and has developed a reputation for large abstracts with vibrant colours.
Melissa HartleyMy depictions of flowers, fruit and other household objects suspend time in an ode to the Golden age of 17th Century Dutch still life painting. Favouring the use of chiaroscuro, I create high tonal contrast between the shadowy charcoal backgrounds and illuminated subjects.

L.M. HemmingsL.M.Hemmings is a local artist who loves to try and capture the atmosphere of the upper mountains, the buildings, bush and clouds. She is still working on it.
Peter HickeyI have lived in Faulconbridge for twenty four years with my family and I have been capturing images of the Blue Mountains for around nine years. I try to capture different perspectives away from the usual lookouts in my own way.
Christine HydeChristine Hyde is an award-winning Blue Mountains Artist and Tutor. She paints primarily in inks and acrylics and many of her paintings are inspired by her local bushland and regional surrounds. Christine is represented by Gallery NWC Katoomba and The Plane Tree Gallery in Tumut.

Leonarda Kovacic is a photographic artist based in Katoomba, specialising in nature-inspired photography. She has had 18 solo exhibitions and has participated in 25 group exhibitions in Australia and Croatia. 

Rika KristallRika is a long term resident of the Blue Mountains who is captivated by their beauty and majesty. Also inspired by dance and music, she works in figurative and abstract ways aiming to capture emotional expression via unconscious process. She is currently studying Visual Arts at Katoomba TAFE.

Jane LangleyMy mother was an artist and I did Art at School. After retiring I began trying different mediums and I like to draw and paint still life and nature. I have exhibited and sold at various Blue Mountains shows.
Sabine Le TourneauI have been trained by well-known artists (Nicolas Harding, Bernard Ollis, Judith White, Jo Bertini between others) and in Fine Arts TAFE and National Arts School. My current interest is working on landscape at the edge between realism and abstraction. My reference is Nicolas de Stael (1914-1955).
Katie LeaveyKatie Leavey is an artist from Leonay New South Wales. Raised in that region, the natural beauty surrounding her each day has allowed Katie to find a real love of using acrylics and mediums to create works that capture the essence of the local mountains and dreamy skies through texture & colour.
Helen LeisHelen Leis is a Katoomba based artist who specialises in printmaking. Helen's work is inspired by the world around her, the landscape, wildlife, her family and garden. The woodblock prints Helen creates demonstrate a variety of methods including jigsaw, multi block and reduction techniques.
Ann LemonAnn Lemon is an artist based in the Blue Mountains and has practiced her art for over 40yrs. Ann’s work has primarily focused on painting images of Australian nature, generally using big bold colours of very thick oil paint applied with a palette knife.
Vicki LewisI love painting portraits especially mother & child images. I also enjoy collage & experimenting with mixed media. After moving to Australia 2 years ago, I have found that I really love the birds here & often make them the subject of my art. I studied art & taught high school art in the USA.
Deb MarshDeb Marsh is a contemporary fused glass artist whose work reflects her joy of colour, light, and texture. After many years of working with various art forms including painting, drawing, ceramic tile mosaics and stained glass, Deb was eventually drawn to the wonderful possibilities of fused glass - a medium that allows for dynamic compositions alongside delicate details. Deb draws inspiration from living in the beautiful Blue Mountains, her gardens, and travels. She is fascinated by the play of light across glass surfaces and the transformation during the kiln firing process, allowing each piece to tell its own unique story. Her process begins with selecting various colours and textures of glass, which are cut, layered, and carefully fused together in a kiln to achieve stunning visual depth and radiance.
Debbie MarshDeb Marsh is a self taught, Blue Mountains based, photographer who especially enjoys photographing landscapes, intimate landscapes, and nature. She utilises available light and applies minimal post processing to her photographs.

Wendy SheardI am a novice artist and began my drawing journey this year in 2024. I am still learning how to draw and currently having lessons. My preferred medium dry coloured pencils and watercolour pencils. My drawings are created on quality acid free paper using highly quality lightfast pencils.

Betty SmithThis painting, Wentworth Falls is the latest in my depictions of Blue Mountains townships.I paint with acrylics on canvas and my style is described as naive. My influences are Henri Rousseau and David Hockney. Like Hockney, I distort perspective to place elements to convey the overall message.

Steve TredinnickSteve a bird artist, whose meticulously-detailed watercolours, all brushwork-created, are inspired and referenced by a lifetime’s experience of studying the birds directly in the field.
