FAQs
When is Blue Mountains Artfest held?
Artfest runs annually on the first full weekend of November.
In 2026 that’s Opening Night on Friday 6 November, then Saturday 7 November (10am–4pm) and Sunday 8 November (10am–3pm).
Where is Artfest held?
At Wentworth Falls Public School on Falls Road, Wentworth Falls in the beautiful Blue Mountains.
Ample, free street parking is available. Alternatively, we are a 10 minute stroll from Wentworth Falls Train Station, and on the 685 bus route.
What does it cost to visit Artfest?
Entry over the festival weekend is by gold coin donation.
Our Opening Night is a ticketed event with canapés, bar, and first access to both the Artfest Exhibition and Makers Market.
Follow us on socials to receive updates on Opening Night ticket sales.
Can I buy the artwork?
Yes! Acquiring an original artwork at Artfest supports both our local creatives and our public school community.
Every artwork in the exhibition is for sale, along with handmade wares in the Makers Market. A generous percentage of every purchase directly supports students at Wentworth Falls Public School through the purchase of educational resources.
Do I need to book workshops in advance?
Bookings are required and can be made online.
Workshops are small-group by design and most sell out before the weekend. Session times and costs are released in October. Browse and book on our Creative Workshops page.
Booking ahead allows our volunteer facilitators to ensure they have all the required materials and space for participants.
Is Artfest family friendly?
Most definitely.
Expect kids’ activities, a dedicated YouthArt exhibition featuring original work from local students, live music, a bake sale and space to roam.
Please note, our Opening Night event is an 18+ event as alcohol is served. So book the babysitter, gather some friends, and toast our local creative community.
Where does the money go?
Straight to the primary school students of Wentworth Falls Public.
Artfest is a not-for-profit fundraiser run by volunteers from the Wentworth Falls Public School P&C Association, and all proceeds fund educational resources and improvements to the school.
Can't make it. Can I still support Artfest?
You sure can. Purchase raffle tickets online for the chance to win incredible prizes from much-loved local businesses, or follow us on Instagram and Facebook and help support by sharing or liking posts.
